Perhaps the kind of emails I least like to send

August 2, 2023                             Hello,   This is perhaps the kind of email I least like to send to you because it's about telling you to watch something else. Like we need to watch more in this life but...here we go.    On a deeply personal level, the idea that I could "master" anything feels inappropriate and wrong. The more I know about everything, it always makes me feel like I know less than I thought, which is why calling this the unMaster Class felt more appropriate. No mastering... not ever.    But here's the thing, my team and I are constantly playing with our jewelry and changing it up in countless ways, and often we are asked "how to" do it...so that's essentially the reason for the unMaster Class series to exist.   You can see this first episode here.    This leads me to the larger idea I was supposed to share with you, which is the launch of our Youtube Channel. Oh god you're likely saying....why on earth do they need a Youtube Channel?!    Why indeed.    I was right along there with you on that front. But then it occurred to me that we've done a lot of things that could be interesting to you or funny, or even touching, maybe perhaps if we are really lucky, useful. Things that take time to explain that are worth putting somewhere for you to see and apparently, that's Youtube.  On a final note, I  submit to you that the best meals I've ever made were with the dregs from my 'fridge because it forces me to try even harder with what little I have in that moment. Consider our latest venture into Youtube is on that same quest -- to try harder for you.    As ever, thank you for letting us into your inbox and your life.
