We hope this finds you and yours well. There’s a lot to tell you, so let’s just get into it.

When we first introduced you to the Musgrave Lock, inspired by two weird little 17th- century objects that Marla found at a beloved London antique jewelry dealer with “Musgrave” engraved on them, you may have guessed that we were not done. For us, a new mechanism is never the end of the story…

INTRODUCING: OVAL MUSGRAVE BRACELET

Yes, we took the same mechanism: two spinning discs that together release a side, and turned it into a bracelet. We think it looks pretty perfect on its own or in a stack, and we cannot emphasize enough how satisfying it is to lock and unlock around your wrist. There are several versions available in 18K yellow, rose, white, and green gold and with stones.

…so that’s where we landed on this evolution. Who knows where we’ll take it next.

Maybe that last fully stoned version got you thinking about gifts (I mean…how could it not?). Your dream gifts. Your nightmare gifts. Gifts you need to get people. Marla maintains that no one really cares what she thinks when it comes to gifts, but we disagree. So, here are some of her favorites, as well as ours—several of which are not jewelry but are jewelry-adjacent. Lastly, SET 5.

As ever, the pieces in this year’s SET are more than the sum of their parts. The vessel it comes in may be one of the most beautiful to date. The pieces are all entirely new, and will not be available outside of SET. We’ll tell you more soon. But for now all you need to know is that it launches December 2, 2024.
