What happens when you have an obsession with a concept that is obsolete?
Victorian Coach Covers are the gold "containers" that women would place over their diamond earrings in the Victorian era when highwaymen and robbery while traveling by coach was truly a threat. The other reason for the gold covers was so "cover" could be appropriate day wear when diamonds were deemed too much.
In a world where everything is appropriate and we are no longer traveling by coach, this precious concept is outdated. But what if we took the beauty of these earrings (because they were absolutely beautiful) and make something reminiscent but different?
Using old mine cut and old European cuts we encased the back in gold, the front is pure old diamond beauty.
They spin. They are part of our Earring Project and sit within our earring base, and our working dot.

- The larger size are 1.63ct-1.66ct

We use UPS and Federal Express. We insure all of our packages and always require a signature for orders over $500. Please make sure you choose an address for delivery where someone is available to sign for it. Our standard shipping in the continental U.S. is complimentary for all orders over $2,000. Overseas shipping is $75.00. Overnight shipping within the U.S. is $30. Please note we are unable to ship to a P.O. Box.

Expected arrival date for international orders is approximately 10-14 days from the order date.

What’s the size difference between babylocks, medium locks and regular locks?
A babylock measures a 1/2 inch, a medium an inch, and a regular lock an inch and a quarter.
How can I style my lock?
You can use it as an extra link to a chain, as a charm holder, or use it to simply complete a chain.
What are the most popular chain lengths?
- 15” is popular for a choker-style look.
- 19” is universally flattering as a necklace and most customers can wrap it around their wrists as a bracelet.
- 32” gives maximum play with various styling possibilities.
What's your return and exchange policy?
We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of receipt for all pieces returned to us in their original packaging and in their original, unworn condition.
