We made Rubber Locks. Literally—they are made entirely out of rubber.

They took us a very long time to make. We tested and retested. There were so many prototypes. And then…we started making colors.

Some colors felt like they should be exclusive. Tomato, for example—the accent color that appears throughout our showroom and a particular shade of red we have been obsessed with for a very long time. And Salt, which is not quite white because we think white is subversive. It will inevitably not stay perfectly white. It will show signs of wear, become a little less pristine and a little more yours. That is a look we like.

They are beyond fun. There is something almost precious about being able to turn our Locks into rubber. One of the founding principles of our work is that all materials can be precious. And when you mix something rough with something shiny, it is really beautiful.

We hope you love them. We hope they end up around your necks, in your hair, on your wrists, on your ankles, on your bags…

The Rubber Chubby Medium Lock measures 2.5 cm long and 1.3 cm wide. The body of the Lock has a circumference of 3.5 mm, and the closure measures 9 mm.

We use UPS and Federal Express. We insure all of our packages and always require a signature for orders over $500. Please make sure you choose an address for delivery where someone is available to sign for it. Our standard shipping in the continental U.S. is complimentary for all orders over $2,000. Overseas shipping is $75.00. Overnight shipping within the U.S. is $30. Please note we are unable to ship to a P.O. Box.

Expected arrival date for international orders is approximately 10-14 days from the shipping date.

For international orders, a customs duty will be charged to you depending upon the country in which you reside.
