Cachalong is a form of opal used traditionally in carvings and cameos. White discs that can be added to Lozenges or worn on their own with the Earring Base.

With reference to our convertible earrings:
Please note that the discs separate from the base--that is part of their design. When the earring is closed the disk is "locked" in place. When the earring is opened, please make sure that the disk is at it's lowest point on the earring so that it can be put on securely
