The Details:
Yes, this is a ring full of independently rolling diamond balls. The diamonds are hand-cut into spheres by master diamond cutters. Each diamond is cut individually, and carat weights will vary based on ring size.
The base of this ring is 18k gold, and is available in white gold, yellow gold, and rose gold.
For reference, the size 7 ring shown here is 7.45 Carats.
Measurements: 4.0 mm x 5.0mm.

The Story:
The idea for a ring with balls that roll was an afterthought of the Kissing Spheres ring from our DiMe Siempre series. We developed diamond balls for its closure, and seeing that made Marla think all that was missing was them actually moving.
