How many diamonds, you ask? Five itty-bitty diamonds sit on each side of the six-sided Lock closure, for a total of .27 carats.
Last year, when we introduced Rubber Locks, we also introduced our porcelain collection, created in collaboration with Nymphenburg. The timing wasn't a coincidence. Fine, hand-painted European porcelain took us just about as long to develop as Rubber Locks.
We mention this because setting diamonds this small into rubber was anything but simple. Getting the rubber to hold each tiny sparkle exactly as we wanted required an extraordinary amount of trial and error.
We're drawn to problems like this because pushing the boundaries of what can be considered precious is a pursuit we'll never tire of.
