Something old, something new. For you.

August 20th, 2021

We try not to abuse your attention—meaning we only reach out like this when we have something that we think could be deemed “exciting”. Still, I’m not quite sure how I want to talk about this. If I wanted to be ironic, I would lead with the statistic that approximately 50% of marriages end up in divorce.

But there is absolutely no place for irony when we talk about love. Humans are eternally optimistic and yes....romantic.

Now...let’s dig in.

Love. Marriage. The roll of the dice. We’re (you me and everyone) hopeless romantics. This is why today we are sharing a series of rings that celebrate love. The collection is called DiMe Siempre and in Spanish this means “tell me forever”.

Each of the designs are unique and have non-traditional settings that hold diamonds and gemstones. Like our existing DiMe series inspired by 14th-century gimmel rings, there is a space inside for your words to be hand-engraved and "locked" closed. What you write can be silly, dirty, nonsensical, or very, very romantic. These rings are a way to celebrate love — and some people will use them for engagements. Some may buy them for themselves. This part is up to you.

They also make a very satisfying *click* when you open or close them.

So there you have it. We’re not the last word on love, but we’re throwing our hat in the ring.

We would love for you to book a time to come see them in person or via Zoom so that we can show them to you. And give you chocolate. Seriously.

In the meantime, here is a New York Times quiz from a few years ago entitled “To Fall in Love With Anyone, Do This.” In case you’re not yet in love and want one of these rings. Or, like me, you just want to check in with the one you love and see if your answers align. Or not….perhaps life is more fun if they don’t align. I digress. Here are the rings.

As ever, thank you for your interest in our work. We will never take it for granted.

Love (yes.Love),

Marla
